What I'm doing now
This is a now page inspired by Derek Sivers.
Updated 11 July 2025 from a week where everything is sunny and green.
Working: with clients and projects at Orbit29 in the health space. I feel so very grateful for this. At the moment, I'm spending particular time on a project I really enjoy where my brain is getting a good workout.
Personal projects: building out this site with case studies and some favorite link pages I'm tinkering with on the backend. Supporting my musical partner with music beyond the first album.
Eating: Lots of salads and fruits that have come back into season. Also blending any teas and fruits to pop into the freezer for ice-pops.
Spending: time with my mum, dates with friends, planning a camping trip, swimming outside on every warm day, going to concerts.
Listening: to Sona Jobarteh and the new album from The Swell Season.
Watching: the MotoGP each weekend it appears. I don't have streaming apps but I'd like to watch the Bear I think. I miss Blockbuster. We had it so good.
Recently: spending countless hours with Apple support. I'm both stunned at how available and human (a rarity these days) their customer service is, and how impossible their processes and getting anything fixed outside of a major city is.
Dreaming: of the jungle in Belize.
Regularly: going to singing classes (still can't sing but learning how to make a head voice and my lung voice), exercising (getting fit for those mountain hikes), cooking (always), eating cookies, sitting in front of fans.
Haphazardly: knitting things that are far too complicated for me, pinning lakes to places to visit, scribbling down draft poems, working out how to see West Africa.
I still can't believe: the entire state of our world.
Looking forward to: more waterfalls, shutting my brain off from work for the summer break, no more wars?
